Privacy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This website
The site uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking, no accounts and no forms, and collects nothing about its visitors. It is hosted on GitHub Pages and served through Cloudflare; like any web host, they process visitors' IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, under their own privacy policies (GitHub, Cloudflare).
Public posts
The tracker reads public posts about Syria and publishes aggregate results only. Posts by individuals are never stored, quoted or linked, and no one is profiled. To detect coordination, commenters' names are turned into one-way fingerprints that exist only in memory during an update and are never saved.
Social media accounts
The tracker's Facebook Page publishes the site's own reports automatically through a Facebook app. The app is used only by the tracker's administrators to post to the tracker's own Page. It logs no one in, does not read, collect or store data about Facebook users, and shares nothing with anyone.
Data deletion
Neither the tracker nor its Facebook app holds personal data about you, so there is nothing to delete. If you have ever connected the app to your Facebook account, you can remove it under Facebook Settings → Apps and websites → Remove.
