The Syria Narrative Tracker is free, independent and open: anyone can read it, download its data and reuse it. It runs on small but steady costs, and your support keeps it going and helps it grow.

The analysis figure is measured from the tracker's own record of updates and refreshes by itself.
What your support pays for
- Keeping the daily updates and the weekly and monthly reports running.
- Reading more posts per update, for steadier tone estimates and fewer small stories missed.
- New sources, especially from areas the tracker does not yet cover well.
- Human review of samples of the analysis in Arabic and Kurdish, and a Kurdish version of the site.

Where the money goes
Payments go to the account of the project's founder and are spent only on the project. Each month's costs are shown on this page.
Our rules
- No supporter or funder has any say in what the tracker publishes or how it analyses it.
- Every institutional funder is named on this page.
- No data about individuals is ever sold or shared.
- The data and reports stay free and open to everyone under CC BY 4.0.
